Points of interest: Hartland Point, Hartland Quay and Speke's Mill Mouth Waterfall Hartland point is part of the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it is famous for its dramatic and rugged coastline. The coastline and surrounding area have been popular as film locations over the years. It’s easy to see why with its rock formations on the beach, the rugged rocks and quite spectacular views. Hartland Point Lighthouse, Hartland Quay and from the car park there’s a stunning walk along the South West Coast Path to Speke's Mill Mouth Waterfall. You can only access the waterfall by foot, the coastal path takes you over several fields as well as the cliff tops. The scenery is breathtaking, it is well worth the walk although it’s unsuitable for pushchairs and wheelchair users. It’s just under a mile to walk to the waterfall. Andrea’s Top Tip Allow a bit extra time to walk to the waterfall, it’s a bit of a trek and part of the coast path is not so easy but it is well worth the view and the waterfall is quite stunning.

Hartland Quay is a small harbour with a pebble beach with areas of rock and sand at low tide. Hartland Quay is well worth a visit for the excellent scenery and there is good walking north to Hartland Point. There is a small car park at the harbour…
