Marazion is a popular tourist town, but it is really lovely to have a wander round. There are plenty of places to grab a bite to eat, pasties, fish and chips, ice creams, cafes, restaurants and pubs. The streets are lined with quaint cornish cottages, lots of independent shops and lovely galleries. The beach at Marazion is dog friendly all year and is a great place for your furry friends to burn off some energy. If you time your visit right you can also walk over to St Michaels Mount via the causeway or take a boat trip over. The island gets cut off by high tide but once the causeway is revealed it’s a lovely walk over. Please ensure you check tide times for your walk back, the water is too deep to wade back. It’s free to walk over on the causeway but if you wish to visit the castle and gardens you will need to pay to enter. The castle and gardens close on a Saturday although you can walk over and wander round the streets and harbour. Parking St Aubyn estate carpark
