Porlock is a charming village with tea shops, restaurants, galleries and independent shops. If you love cheese don’t forget to pop in to The Big Cheese, it’s full of delicious cheeses and other gifts.
After an amble around Porlock visit Porlock Weir, you can drive, catch the bus or walk through a lovely woodland. The walk down from Porlock is about 1.5 miles but it’s worth it, especially when it’s warm as it offers a welcome bit of shade.
If you decide to catch the bus, head into the middle of the village and look for the library, from there you can catch the bus outside the library to Porlock Weir.
