If you walk out of the town via the South West Coast Path you will reach the remains of Crinnis Cliff Battery which was built in 1793 to protect Charlestown from the French. Visit the Shipwreck Treasure Museum. Fowey Sat in the mouth of the River Fowey is the popular town of Fowey.
