Visit the fishing port of Boscastle and discover Tintagel Castle & Merlin’s Cave. Walk around the village of Boscastle and then along to the natural harbour which is set in a narrow ravine, there are some very attractive thatched buildings and pretty white-washed cottages. The village is now a main tourist attraction so be aware it can get busy but it’s definitely worth a visit. Walk along the harbour wall on to the cliffs and look out to the Atlantic ocean, on stormy days this is a great mind calmer. Tintagel Castle Don’t forget to book your tickets with English Heritage at least a few days before your visit There’s a lovely walk from the King Arthur's Arms car park, turn right and then left after the Cornishman Inn, walk along the road called Vicarage Hill which will bring you to St Materiana's Church which sits on the cliff top. The views from the churchyard are quite spectacular, then follow the South West Coast Path back to the village along Glebe Cliff, the path takes you under the bridge over to the island. Follow the steps down and don’t forget to look for Merlin’s cave then follow the road back up into the village Park and stay the night at King Arthur's Arms pub or alternatively stay at Trewethett Farm Caravan Club Site in Tintagel
