Pop over to Padstow on the ferry, wander around Padstow, enjoy the dramatic coastline at Bedruthan Steps and walk the golden sands of Holywell Bay. Padstow can get really busy and parking is quite difficult especially if you have a motorhome but it's definitely worth a visit, there are lots of galleries, independent shops and it is great for foodies too. Rick Stein’s "The Seafood Restaurant", Deli and Fish and Chip Shop is on the front. Don’t forget to visit the Lobster Hatchery. Parking Padstow can be very busy at peak times, try parking in Rock and take the water taxi/ferry over instead. Strong Adolfos Cafe on the A39 at Hawksfield is great for breakfast or lunch and a bit of shopping too and there's plenty of free parking on the way to Bedruthan Steps. Bedruthan Steps Although you can’t access the beach at the moment due to a major rock fall you can still walk along the cliffs and the views are breathtaking. Unfortunately the steps down to the beach have been closed for safety reasons but from the cliff tops you’ll be able to see the stunning views of the beach. The rock stacks and rock pools below on the sandy beach are really lovely - definitely worth a visit for a photo opportunity. Holywell Bay Holywell Beach is a bit of a hidden secret, park in the National Trust Car Park and walk on to the beach. The golden sandy beach is a fantastic place to watch the Atlantic ocean. The beach is used for filming locations and it’s easy to see why, the beach is totally unspoilt and is dog friendly but during the warmer weather beware Adders are in the dunes so please take care if you are walking your dogs. Film location for: Poldark James Bond - "Die Another Day" and "Tomorrow Never Dies” Stay overnight at St Agnes Beacon Caravan and Motorhome Club Site
