Along the route to Land's End you'll have the opportunity to visit Pendeen Lighthouse, Geevor Tin Mine Visitor Centre, Botallack Mine and Sennen Cove.
Leave St Ives via the B3306 towards Zennor, follow the meandering road running parallel to the coastline. There are lots of places to stop along the way. Carn Galver Engine House is a great stop for a photo opportunity with the sea in the background.
Pendeen lighthouse is the last shore based lighthouse on the north coast before Land’s End.
Geevor Tin Mine is now an underground museum and heritage centre.
The Botallack Mine is part of the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site and also one of the locations for Poldark filming.
Sennen Cove
Park at the top of Sennen Cove and walk down if you have a motorhome. There is a car park at the bottom but it can get busy and it’s not easy to park large vehicles.
Sennen beach is lovely and is popular with both surfers and swimmers.
In the storms it’s a popular destination for a spot of storm watching.
Land’s End
Visit later in the day and watch the sun setting - you’ll love it.
